What is the esoteric meaning, in this chapter, of Jesus washing the disciples’ feet, and why did he indicate that if he washed Peter’s feet there was no need for more? It is important, for astrologically the feet are associated with the water sign of Pisces, and Pisces is associated with the soul. Thus Jesus’ washing the feet of the disciples was symbolic of the purification of their psyche or desire body. He was teaching them that if the desires are pure there is no need to worry about anything else … once the psyche is cleansed, then thought and action are pure too.
