It absorbs, it takes in sunlight. The physical sun is, shall we say, the body or the vehicle of the Lord Christ. The ancients did not worship the sun, as is often stated; the sun-worshippers of old were taught to worship the Sun-spirit, thought to abide in the sun: the spirit of goodness and love, the influence of which came into the human heart.
